Job Description Summary Lead Engineer on the X300 Engineering Operations Team. Responsible for engineering operations activities that support the BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) design team. The required work location is at the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy headquarters in Wilmington, NC (financial assistance for relocation provided if not already local). Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: - Perform oversight activities all X300 system and component design and analysis teams. - Manage design productivity metrics. - Drives improvements in engineering productivity using lean tools. - Plan / develop technical and management processes to improve both team and customer productivity. - Liaise with customers, in partnership with engineering leadership and Project Management. - Interface with cross-functional teams and departments necessary to complete assigned engineering operations activities. - Improve areas of project execution and department management through lean methodology and the corrective action program. - Support development efforts for new products and new technology.
