Overview of the role: The role of the Activity Coordinator is to support adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health disorders through developing, planning and implementing an activity programme for our residents, including social activities, outings and holidays, all according to their care plan and preferences. Key duties: - Plan, organise and coordinate an activities programme for each resident individually and in groups, according to their needs, interests and abilities - Manage the activities budget allocated for the month - Ensure equality of opportunities for all residents - Assist the Positive Behaviour Support team with assessing residents' skills and abilities so that tailored activities can be planned - Actively participate in scheduled activities - Occasionally provide physical car...
