Salary: £31,537 - £33,699 per annum Hours per week: 37 hours: Interview date: Wednesday 24 June 2026 We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and organised person to join our Intensive Travel Training team, part of the wider Community Connecting team, the focus is on bespoke, sustainable travel training to and from a young person’s place of education, completed in real time. This will involve working with young people with disabilities, parents and support networks, liaising with schools, colleges, Wiltshire Council’s passenger transport team, SEND transport team and other professionals to ensure seamless support is provided. Community Connecting is part of Employment and Community Skills (ECS) within the wider SEND service. The team supports children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities or autism to access and maintain community opportunities such as leisure, travel, social activities, volunteering, and pre-vocational training, in line with their individual plans, while also supporting their carers We also work with local specialist schools, facilitating The Get Connected Project which supports road awareness and safety.
