Job Description Overview: CanAtom, a joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Aecon, is delivering the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project under a collaborative contract with Ontario Power Generation. The joint venture is underway to complete the retube, feeder, and boiler replacement (RFBR) of Units 5–8. Building on the successful delivery of the Darlington Refurbishment Project, the CanAtom team brings proven experience in safely executing complex nuclear projects on time and on budget to support Ontario’s clean energy future. Your role: - Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging. - Support project specific conventional safety and environmental management plans and procedures including; inspections, audits, observation and coaching, Worker Trades Committee and JHSC. - Train project staff on the requirements of conventional safety procedures; Hot Work, Working at Heights, Dropped Object Prevention, Confined Spaces, Working on or around Electrical Equipment, Ergonomics. - Track and report safety-related statistics, help manage Return to Work and review Modified...
