Molding Process Technician 2

Job description

Overview The Molding Process Tech 2 is responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the plant injection molding machines and associated equipment for manufacturing and is expected to be proactive and can perform their work at a prominent level with minimum supervision. Responsibilities: - Responsible for following all safety policies in compliance with Rain Bird safety standards and programs. - Perform tasks to increase injection molding machine equipment uptime and reliability. - Effectively and efficiently perform mold and material changes to meet manufacturing schedule. - Perform periodic preventative maintenance tasks on molds, molding machines, and auxiliary equipment. - Assist with the installation of new equipment in support of manufacturing operations. - Communicate issues/improvements/ideas between department members and supervision. - Trouble shoot quality concerns for root causes and make required process adjustments. - Monitor and adjust machine parameters to assure established tolerances and part quality are maintained. - Maintain proper documentation to assure lot traceability, process control, and preventative maintenance. - Operate mobile equipment s...
