Job description

SUMMARY: The Rover support staff for all other Custodians and assists them with supply orders and event support. They are given assigned tasks on a daily or weekly basis and are required to be familiar with the routines in all buildings to be able to cover for any employee that is not present. The job responsibilities, like the custodians, will be to keep University buildings in a clean and orderly condition, complete project work such as floor care and carpet care, support Special Event activities, move furniture, equipment and supplies as necessary and performs other assigned duties to support the operations of the Facilities Department and the University community by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs daily task and work orders assigned in support of custodian needs of chemical and paper supplies and trash or recyclables as needed. May perform routine cleaning of areas including, restrooms, floors, fixtures, mirrors, doors, etc. Replenish restroom supplies.
