Work Shift Day Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: This position supports Mercy's philosophy of patient centered care by providing and maintaining an environment that allows for the perfect patient experience. This is achieved by maintaining and repairing hospital utilities, equipment and environmental systems. Job Description: Job Duties/Essential Functions: Job Duties: Position is for a Licensed HVAC/Refrigeration Specialist. ● Complete and facilitate basic and complex work orders and Preventative Maintenance at direction of Supervisor or Dispatcher using staff and contractor resources. Serve as technical expert resource in a specific field of mechanical or building system trade. ● Ability to coordinate with any work using resources available to include staff and contractor resources reporting to Lead and Facilities Supervisor. ● Completes preventive maintenance procedures accurately and timely to ensure that all such work is performed to manufacturer's recommendations and by regulation. ● Conducts all required testing and documentation of regulated items within area of specialty.
