Department: Education Department New Graduate Nurse Residency - Fall 2026 Program Timeline: Application Closing: May 10, 2026 Schedule Interviews: Last week in May Panel Interviews: Second week in June Final Selection: Third week in June Program Start Date: September 14, 2026 Program Eligibility: RN Residency: A program designed for newly licensed ** RNs (or international equivalent) with less than 12 months of nursing experience to attain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet standards of nursing practice relevant to the practice setting. Must be a graduate of an accredited ASN/ADN, BSN or MSN program. Must hold current Registered Nurse Licensure – issued by the State of California at time of hire NCLEX: Exam status must be passed or scheduled Current Basic Life Support Certification - issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire - Please note: Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) is required.
