Description Essential Purpose : The Head Golf Course Mechanic is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment and machinery. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance, enhancing the overall quality of the golf course. Essential Duties: - To satisfactorily complete all daily assignments as directed, including preventative maintenance, random safety checks, and service requests. - To supervise and train mechanics and Golf Course Maintenance team members in best practices for equipment care and safety. - To organize daily priority lists and assign responsibilities as needed to the Assistant Golf Course Mechanic. - To keep accurate inspection and service records for each individual Golf Maintenance machine. - To requisition from purchasing, repair and replacement parts, as needed. - To secure Golf Maintenance equipment and property against damage or theft. - To ensure proper set-up and preparation of new and existing equipment. - To communicate all guest requests to an appropriate supervisor in a timely and professional manner. - To...
