Job Summary The Receiving Clerk efficiently manages incoming shipments, verifies contents, inspects for damages, and maintains accurate records to support warehouse operations. Makes system updates as necessary. Primary Duties: - Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness by verifying against purchase orders and other relevant documentation. - Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies, recording findings and promptly reporting any issues to the appropriate parties. - Coordinate and prepare items for quality inspection, assisting in conducting necessary inspections or audits as required. - Maintain systematic filing and organization of documents to ensure easy access and retrieval as needed. - Collaborate with and direct material handlers to ensure efficient and safe movement of goods and materials within the warehouse, prioritizing tasks based on operational needs. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to unload and move shipments as needed, while performing routine maintenance checks and promptly reporting any issues. - Restocking products and materials and keeping area clean and organized. - Use of handheld scanners...
