Description This is a direct placement, full time position with White Tank & Truck Repair. Shift Available: 40 Hours/Week, Overtime Available - 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM Position Overview: White Tank & Truck Repair is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Belleville, IL. We specialize in late-model Freightliner and Kenworth (Paccar) Class 8 trucks and have the capability to perform nearly any repair on semi tractors. This position focuses heavily on advanced diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and major component repair. Full access to industry-leading diagnostic software, including Paccar Davie, Freightliner Diagnostic Link, and JPro, is available to support accurate and efficient troubleshooting. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical issues in a clean, organized, team-focused shop. Compensation: - Entry-Level Mechanic: $20.61/hour - Eligible for 5% increase every 6 months - Veteran Mechanic: Up to $34.35/hour - Additional $3.00–$3.50/hour premium pay for advanced skill sets - Overtime paid at time-and-a-half - Annual wage increases Benefits: - Fully paid health insurance - $750 family deductible - 401(k) with company contrib...
