Position Summary Acuren is currently recruiting for a NACE Level 2 Coatings Inspector, to support operations at the LNG site in Kitimat, BC! Relocation is required! Start Date: Immediate: Shift/Hours : 40 hrs./week and possible overtime Hourly Rate: Up to $58.00/hr. depending on certifications and experience Relocation: We are able to offer up to 3 months of temporary housing to assist with your relocation transition, if required. Responsibilities: - Perform coating and corrosion inspections on piping, tanks, and structural steel in accordance with NACE/AMPP, CSA, and project specifications. - Conduct surface preparation checks, environmental monitoring, DFT readings, adhesion testing, and holiday detection. - Identify coating defects and non-conformance issues, and recommend corrective actions. - Complete accurate inspection reports, daily logs, and turnover documentation. - Ensure contractor compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and inspection hold points. - Interpret drawings, specificatio...
