Classification Title: Pediatric Nephrology - Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor Job Description: The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking two Pediatric Nephrologists to pursue a non-tenure track career in the Division of Nephrology. Incumbents will provide clinical services to patients seen in the Pediatric Nephrology clinics and Shands Teaching Hospitals, as well as teaching Pediatric residents, fellows and medical students. The Division of Pediatric Nephrology is a tertiary referral center for North and Central Florida and the surrounding states. Our Division offers special expertise in the care of very young children with renal failure and in the care of patients with complex renal abnormalities who require dialysis and transplantation. The Division of Pediatric Nephrology provides diagnosis and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with all forms of acute and chronic kidney disease. There are approximately 3600 outpatient visits and 350 admissions each year.
