Title: Adjunct Instructor, Teach and Learning Position Number: 220060: Unit/Department: Education Instructional: FTE: Part-Time: Salary: Per credit hour: Job Summary: The Drake University School of Education – Department of Teaching and Learning invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in ESL Education. This candidate will be responsible for teaching TESL 125/225: Teaching Literacy to Multilingual Students. This course fulfills requirements for Drake University’s K–12 ESL endorsement and focuses on research-based and culturally responsive literacy instruction for multilingual learners. The successful candidate will teach one section of TESL 125/225 in Fall 2026. The course objectives and syllabus have already been established. The instructor will be responsible for facilitating course activities and projects designed to meet course objectives as well as grading all related coursework. The course is delivered in an online format with required synchronous Zoom sessions.
