Job DetailsJob Location: Casper, WY 82601Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 HourlyThe Procedure Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling routine patient procedures as well as complicated surgeries, with associated therapeutic modalities as ordered by the physician. They obtain patient and procedural information and advise patients on surgical preparation requirements and responsibilities. The person in this role assures compliance with scheduling policies and practices through first line problem solving, including research and investigation, interpretation and resolution and/or escalation as necessary and appropriate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedules patient appointments per surgery and/or procedure orders. Communicates procedure information and patient instructions appropriately and in a timely manner to patients and/or family, including financial obligations. Communicates with providers/physicians as needed regarding scheduling and pertinent educational materials for patients.
