Job description

Head of MRO-RAF Lossiemouth Company: Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited In 2017, the UK Ministry of Defence commissioned a new fleet of nine P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol aircraft. The P-8A MPA is based on a Boeing 737 modified with equipment to perform a wide range of missions, including protecting the Trident nuclear submarines and conducting reconnaissance beyond UK territorial waters. The programme includes a £130m investment in a Strategic Facility at RAF Lossiemouth. The ‘Atlantic Building’ comprises squadron accommodation, crew and maintainer training facilities, flight planning areas, workshops and a three-bay aircraft hangar. The facility is 19 m high, 165 m long and 100 m wide, and is part of a long-term partnering initiative between Boeing and the UK Government announced at the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow. Role overview: Senior Boeing management position responsible for leading maintenance and support activities for UK Poseidon MRA Mk1 and E-7 Wedgetail AEW1 aircraft operating at RAF Lossiemouth.
