Yulista Support Services LLC Regular: PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Licensed Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that aircraft and their equipment if functioning safely and efficiently. They service, repair and overhaul various aircraft components and systems including airframes, engines, electrical and hydraulic systems propellers, avionics equipment and aircraft instruments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Perform the full range of airframe and engine maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections and servicing of aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices and certifies work accomplished - Troubleshoot engines and systems and use the Federal Supply System; read and understand mechanical manuals and schematics; read and interpret all instruments; use special test equipment and tools; research the sections of Aviation Facilities Division. - Perform full system checkout on all aircraft systems, perform mechanic test flight duties, perform complete servicing of aircraft - Accompany Research and Development aircraft on project flights away from worksite and perform maintenance on the aircraft at locations other than AIMS New Jersey - The Licensed Aircraft Mechani...
