About the Role HOYA Lens UK is seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Production Operative to join our lens coating team. This hands‑on role combines machine operation with manual processes to support the production of high‑quality optical lenses. Key Responsibilities: - Coating of optical lenses in line with quality standards - Operating machinery (approximately 20% of the role) - Performing manual tasks (approximately 80% of the role) - Inspecting products to ensure quality and accuracy - Completing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks - Carrying out basic machine maintenance and calibration - Performing daily equipment and process checks - Understanding and working towards key performance indicators (KPIs) - Complying with all company rules, procedures, and health & safety regulations Skills and Qualifications: - High attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Self‑motivated with a proactive approach - Good manual dexterity (nimble‑fingered) - Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment - Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines What We Offer: Shift patterns we are looking for include rotating Monday - Friday 10pm-6am and Tuesday- S...
