Description POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the timely, accurate submission and follow-up of primary and secondary claims for commercial, federal, and self-pay lines of business in support of the Business Office and agency operating divisions. Ensures accounts receivable functions comply with CMHC He-M standards, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, payer requirements, and agency policies governing fiscal integrity, documentation, and confidentiality. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Claims Processing & Submission - Denials Management & Follow-Up - Payment Posting & Adjustments - Account Maintenance & Authorization Support - Collaboration & Compliance Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - High School diploma or equivalent. - Three (3) years of experience in medical billing or related healthcare administrative role, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Proficiency in computerized billing systems and above-average keyboarding skills. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including basic Excel skills. - Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
