POSITION SUMMARY: Summer Camp Counselors support the successful delivery of Martis Camp’s Summer Camp program by providing energetic, attentive, and caring supervision for campers. Counselors work under the direction of the Summer Camp Lead and Youth Programs Manager, helping facilitate activities, prepare materials, oversee transitions, and maintain a safe, joyful, and engaging camp environment. This role is highly interactive and member-facing, requiring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine love of working with children. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: PROGRAM FACILITATION - Lead or assist with crafts, group games, nature-based activities, and summer-themed projects as directed by the Camp Lead. - Participate fully in all daily activities, modeling enthusiasm, teamwork, and curiosity. - Help create a fun, inclusive environment that encourages creativity, connection, and summer adventure. - Step in to oversee campers when the Camp Lead is on breaks or temporarily off-site.
