SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing mechanical maintenance to all EAA vehicles and equipment. Duties include preventive maintenance, repairs, vehicle safety inspections, and various welding and fabrication of equipment, and other related projects. Other duties may be assigned. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in repairs and maintenance on EAA vehicles and equipment according to the standards set by supervisor. - Performs duties of engine tune-ups, repairs and overhauls, oil changes, tire rotations and changes, with repairs to manual, drive trains and axles, transmissions, clutches, brakes, and suspension. - Performs duties of repairs and fabrication to equipment through welding, cutting and grinding of various metals - Responsible for operation of various types of tools, equipment; machinery, and vehicles of all types. - Schedules future maintenance and advises operators on specific maintenance requirements. - Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs. - Performs duties of vehicle/trailer hook-ups and deliveries. - Loading and unloading of vehicles and equipment. - Preforms minor auto body repairs to vehicles and equipment as required. - Genera...
