Overview Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Substance Use Disorder Counselor will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health’s Syracuse Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) . In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $3,000! Pay: $22.11 - $25.76 per hour. Responsibilities: - Maintain a case load of patients seeking treatment from the effects of substance use and/or mental health disorders. - Perform essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping. - Participate in program, administrative and clinical committees as assigned. - Relate effectively with staff, clients, and community while upholding confidentiality requirements.
