Job Type Full-time Description: SUMMARY: The Staff Auditor is responsible for supporting the internal audit function by performing audit testing, evaluating internal controls, and assessing compliance with bank regulations, internal policies, and procedures. This role helps to ensure the organizational operations are effective, adhere to policies and procedures, and comply with regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ~Perform walkthroughs, document processes, and identify key controls. ~Execute audit procedures designed to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls. ~Prepare clear, well-organized audit workpapers that support audit conclusions. ~Analyze audit findings for the root cause and ensure the corrective action is appropriate. ~Summarize audit findings and draft audit reports. ~Communicate observations to audit management and business unit personnel. ~Performing FDICIA testing for all entities. ~Coordinating control revisions, additions, and eliminations with the CAO. ~Ensure controls are reasonable and auditable. ~Maintain control testing records, including testing completed, passed, failed and in process. ~Maintain and organize the testing d...
