Production Supervisor 3rd shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 4:00am-4:30pm Purpose: To plan, organize and control production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time and within budgets and to standards. The Production Supervisor will directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production between machine operators by supervising daily production schedules and ensure that inventory levels are managed properly. Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 3 years of knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques - 2-3 years of manufacturing experience required Supervisory Responsibilities: - Oversee the day to day workflow of production staff - Manages Production operators - Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed an in accordance with company policy - Works with department leaders to monitor each department and make recommendations to improve performance that impacts the organization Position Responsibilities: - Oversee the production process to ensure delivery of high quality products that meet the customers’ needs - Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays -...
