Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, an AmLaw 100 Firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal for our New York City or Baltimore offices. This position would be responsible for preparing and filing legal documentation in the State and Federal courts. The ideal candidate would have five or more years of experience handling bankruptcy matters in a mid to large sized law firm. RESPONSIBILITIES: REQUIREMENTS: COMPENSATION : The national average salary range for this role is $67,000 - $113,000. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications, and experience. - Familiar with federal and state rules of procedure and evidence for document format, content, filing, etc., and ensures compliance with Court rules. - Prepare, file, and serve documents with Federal Courts through CM/ECF. - Prepare and file Federal legal documents such as summonses, briefs, motions, responses, agendas, fee applications, proofs of claim, demand letters, bankruptcy petitions and other first day pleadings, schedules and SOFAs, and discovery related pleadings, for review, approval, and use by attorneys. - Assist with basic legal research, including locating cases, statutes, an...
