Job description

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining food safety standards, and fostering a clean and positive work environment. This position is an important step toward assuming the responsibilities of a General Manager. Key Responsibilities: Leadership ? Assist with hiring, training, motivating, and developing team members to ensure restaurant success. ? Conduct onboarding and orientation for new team members using the company’s learning management system (WKS+ and WeLearn). ? Represent the General Manager in meetings, training sessions, and promotional activities when the GM is not available. ? Demonstrate commitment to WKS Values: Integrity, Loyalty, Winning, Service, and Teamwork. ? Enforce uniform and grooming standards and ensure compliance with workplace conduct policies. ? Promptly report claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, bullying, workplace violence, or other inappropriate behavior to the District Leader and Human Resources.
