Safety Coordinator Position Summary: Under the direction of the Safety Coordinator Supervisor, the Safety Coordinator is responsible for implementing safety protocols, assisting with safety planning for participants, staff and guests. This role involves direct and indirect contact with participants, developing safety plans, and practicing violence interruption. The candidate must have experience, knowledge, or understanding of trauma-informed approaches. The candidate will learn and use Cognitive Based Interventions and program curriculum when navigating challenges presented with participants, staff and guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Monitor safety protocols across the Atlas HOPE Program, ensuring that safety measures align with curriculum; - Assists the Safety Coordinator Supervisor with execution of participant safety plans, focusing on harm reduction; - To apply conflict mediation and harm reduction to staff, participants, and guests using CBI; - Serve as a liaison between participants and external safety-related resources; - Assist in safety planning for participants with staff to address the needs of all participants; - Prepare and submit all documents in 24-...
