Company Description In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in manganese, as well as copper exploration projects under way in North West Queensland. Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. Job Description: We are seeking an Environmental Coordinator to join the team at Aquila Mine on a full-time, permanent basis with Anglo American. The Environmental Coordinator supports all aspects of the environment function at Aquila Mine. Working in close collaboration with the broader Environmental team and site Operations, this role contributes to driving environmental performance, ensuring compliance with Anglo American standards and legislative requirements, and delivering the Environment Department Work Plan aligned with operational objectives.
