Job description

The primary role of the Laundry Attendant is to be responsible for ensuring that clean linen and clothing are readily available for patients and staff. This position involves tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens according to established procedures and standards. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry area. You will also handle the collection and disposal of soiled linens and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm) Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to, Job Requirements include but are not limited to, - Pick up, receive, and sort cloths and linens according to fiber, color, and soiled condition. - Operates washers and dryers in accordance with safety standards. - Handle the collection and disposal of soiled linens in a hygienic manner. - Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor - Supplies recommended quantities of detergents.
