Suffolk University seeks a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to manage and maintain the university’s wired and wireless network infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our network services, supporting both academic and administrative functions. This position will also support some networking responsibilities at Curry College with Stipend. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; Suffolk University is unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas for this position. This is a hybrid position based in Boston. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain the wired and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. - Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Extreme Networks, Aruba Networks, Juniper Networks , F5, and Ivanti equipment. - Administer and support LAN, WAN, VOIP, VPN, BGP, and Internet. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, implementing solutions to optimize network performance. - Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure seamless integration and operation of network services. - Develop and maintain network docume...
