Water/Wastewater Utility Technician Department: Water/Wastewater: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Bossier City, LA: Reporting To: Rebecca Bellemin: Description: Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Water/Wastewater Utility Technician for our Bossier City, LA office to assist with operations & maintenance of water and wastewater systems. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of clean water to the community and the proper treatment and disposal of wastewater. Your Primary Responsibilities will include: In this role, which is approximately 75 percent field-based and 25 percent office-based, you will be responsible for collecting chlorine samples, monitoring and adjusting chemical feed rates, reading meters, and supporting the operation and maintenance of lift stations. You will conduct DEQ-required discharge sampling, perform daily site visits to assess sewer and water plant conditions, complete quarterly nitrification sampling, and collect monthly LDH-required water samples.
