The False Claims Division investigates fraudulent business conduct and brings enforcement actions under the Massachusetts False Claims Act (G.L. c. 12, § 5A et seq. ) against companies and individuals in diverse industries, including technology, transportation, environmental, housing, public construction, health care and pandemic-related assistance programs, among others. Cases require coordination with state, local, and federal authorities and involve matters of public interest and social justice, as well as challenging and complex enforcement initiatives.
