Job description

General Summary The Environment, Health, & Safety Specialist II T works under supervision of the Manager, EH&S, to plan, direct, implement, and provide support and assistance to the Environment, Health, and Safety functions to ensure a positive, safe, healthy, and incident-free workplace for Penumbra employees, contractors, and visitors. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. The EH&S Specialist II works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action and builds productive internal/external working relationships. Areas of specialty for this position, while having a general knowledge company-wide, will focus on compliance, risk-based management, monitoring, and training. Also respond to emergency situations when they arise and can have flexible working hours covering all shifts and may work overtime or weekends when needed.
