Title: HVAC Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the of the Manager of Facilities, the HVAC supervisor performs skilled trade-level (journeyman) repair and maintenance on refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation and air handling equipment. Required to install, maintain and repair electric, electronic and pneumatic controls systems with their supporting machinery, heating/air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform job duties from the assigned campus/instructional site/work location. Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems that incorporate pneumatic, digital, and central energy management system controls. Performs data entry and routine logging in the computerized controls management system (CCMS). Supervise HVAC mechanics in the proper protocols and repair procedures. Maintain flexibility and be available for duty during short-notice or urgent situations.
