Feed Mill Commercial Driver

Job description

Objective: The primary responsibility of a Feed Mill Driver is to load and deliver feed from the Feed Mill to the designated grower farms in a safe manner. Position Functions and Responsibilities: - Clear understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. - Must have at least 1 year commercial driving experience - Must have a clear MVR - Must be able to train to load own truck (occasionally) - Must be able to open and close the drop gates or feed trailer compartments Physical Demands and Work environment: - Work in a warm, dusty environment. - Work in a cold, moist environment. - Push and/or Pull heavy objects - Walk up and down multiple flights of stairs multiple times daily. - Have no fear of Heights. - Be able to stoop/bend, balance - Be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls - Be able to reach with hands/arms - Be able to withstand moderate to loud noises - Be able to sit for extended periods - Be able to lift/handle up to 50 pounds - Be physically qualified according to FMCSR - Be able to work overtime when needed Measurements of Performance: - Be dependable and honest. - Exhibit reliable attendance - Follow SOP's and GMP's as outlined b...
