Job Description Summary The Sourcing and Procurement specialist is responsible for appraising and improving our purchasing activities by analyzing spend and supplier base, drive days to pay, price negotiations, purchase order placement, on-time delivery improvement. The professionals will manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance to all GE Power Conversion policies and procedures, while achieving the best overall value. The position requires understanding of concepts, methods, and procedures to enable sourcing and procurement execution. The team works a hybrid schedule with both remote and office workdays. 3 times in the office per week. 10% travel national and international will be required – as/when needed The Sourcing Specialist will lead new supplier’s qualifications and will1 contribute to sourcing savings, on-time-delivery, payment terms and finance cashflow goals.
