Job description

Job Purpose Manage and coordinate activities of the Maintenance team for the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations. Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the facility. Essential Functions: - Directly oversee Maintenance team including staffing, training, performance standards, etc. - Oversee the day-to-day assignments of the second and third shift Maintenance team - Partner with the Maintenance Planner to develop scope and assign technicians to work orders and projects - Ensure weekly preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and work orders are completed satisfactorily - Monitor scheduled work and adjust as required to meet production schedules - Inspect completed work for conformance to standards, specifications, and blueprints - Continually monitor working conditions and equipment use; suggest changes to increase efficiency and quality - Maintain time and production records - Ensure maintenance shop equipment and tools meet operational requirements - Ensure all plant maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment in compliance with OSHA rules - Manage the department such th...
