Job Description: The Role: Patient Care Monitor Technician Works in collaboration with the medical-surgical inpatient nursing teams to care for patients requiring cardiac/ telemetry monitoring. The Opportunity: - The Patient Care monitor technician will monitor patients’ heart rates and rhythms for any deviations from normal and will notify appropriate staff as needed. - Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors. Identifies significant arrhythmias and rhythm changes and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts. The Work: Reports abnormal telemetry findings or changes to nursing staff using appropriate systems.
