Overview: Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, is recruiting a pediatric infectious diseases physician at the assistant or associate professor level, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in pediatric infectious diseases and demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence in patient care. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient consultation, ambulatory clinic referrals and serving as an attending on our inpatient Infectious Diseases service. Faculty will participate in academic and scholarly work. Opportunities include clinical and translational research, quality improvement initiatives and collaboration across multiple programs. The division’s educational role includes teaching medical students, residents and infectious diseases fellows. Nationwide Children’s is the nation’s largest not-for-profit freestanding pediatric health care network. We provide wellness, preventive, diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative care for infants, children and adolescents from central Ohio, northern Kentucky and West Virginia.
