Job Details: Summary This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to producers caring for the company's birds, ensuring their proper care and comfort. Key Responsibilities: Advisory Role : Advise producers regarding building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation, and farm sanitation. Farm Visits : Conduct farm visits to document bird comfort, manage the flock and equipment settings. Schedules & Monitoring : Direct feed and light schedules, monitor bird health, egg production, body weight, and conformation, and provide remedies when possible. Sample Collection : Monitor feed consumption, pull blood and fat samples on time when required. Coordination : Coordinate bird placements to the farms, assist with catch schedules, and ensure communication between hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live haul as it pertains to their contract farms. Compliance : Ensure both producer and company are in compliance with the production contract to produce flocks of the highest quality and lowest cost due to good performance.
