Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH) is looking for a Placard & Part Making Tech I. Pay Rate: $21.21 per hour (depending on experience, location, etc.) Job Type: Full-time, Contract: Contract Duration: 12 months (w/opportunity for extension) Benefits: Experience/Education: - coverage of up to one-half of employee's medical insurance premium for a base plan - eight (8) paid holidays - per diem split (if qualified) - three (3) sets of uniforms (if applicable) - opportunity to become a direct hire after ninety (90) days - High School Diploma or GED required. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications that are specific to producing placards, ID plates, spray masks and wire stamping. - 1 year computer experience required. - Graphic design experience preferred. Purpose: Under direct supervision, create and produce placards, identification plates, vinyl spray painting masks, and perform wire stamping, may include final placard installation. - Valid driver's license may be required. - Participation in a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program may be required.
