POSITION SUMMARY: - Senior level role in the Buyer job family supporting our site in Georgetown, TX. Plan and purchase products to meet demand need. Maintain inventory levels, address shortages and support product evolution daily. Responsible for securing the necessary materials to meet the needs of customers and the business. Work with a bit more complex suppliers and supply chains changes and development. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work with the SIOP and demand team, sending forecast to suppliers. - Tactical creation and issuance of purchase orders to approved suppliers based on the demand. - Work with supplier to expedite material as needed to support production needs driven by customer demand. - Supports internal customer i.e., Offering managers/Warranty team/NPDI/Project Managers - Reconcile / resolve invoice discrepancies and route next steps to appropriate functional group. - Coordinate information between suppliers, Materials & Commodity Management; provide products availability, pricing, and shipping information. - Adheres to spot buy and freight cost management processes to minimize total cost to the business. - Investigate multiple options with the commodity team for and negoti...
