Production Planner

Job description

Job Summary The Production Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production schedules to ensure the timely manufacturing of PPE products while meeting quality, safety, and cost objectives. This role balances customer demand, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability in a regulated manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on forecasts, customer orders, capacity, and material availability. - Adjust production plans in response to changes in demand, supply constraints, or operational issues. - Coordinate production priorities with manufacturing and customer service departments. - Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize shortages and excess stock. - Support inventory accuracy through regular reviews and data validation. - Communicate schedule changes, risks, and constraints clearly to stakeholders. - Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness. - Support process improvements related to planning systems, tools, and workflows.
