Job description
Overview The Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC), Geisel School of Medicine and Dartmouth Health are seeking to jointly recruit junior faculty dedicated to pursuing careers in cancer research. Physician-scientists and clinician-investigators/clinical trialists from all clinical specialties who are pursuing basic, translational, or clinical cancer research are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will be appointed as Assistant or Associate Professors in the appropriate department at Dartmouth and become full DCC members. Protected time for research and generous start-up packages will be provided. Members of DCC’s Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy (ICI) research program pursue basic, translation, and clinical research towards the development of novel small molecule-, antibody- and cell-based immunotherapies for cancer. Current ICI investigators conduct research aligned with one of three primary program themes: 1) Immune Checkpoints and Antibody Therapeutics; 2) Tumor Microenvironment and Myeloid Cells; and 3) T cells and Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy.
