Senior RTR Accountant

Job description

The Senior RTR Accountant, will be a member of the Global RTR team based in Gdansk, Poland, reporting to RTR team leader. The RTR Team is responsible for General Ledger, monthly and quarterly IFRS reporting, review of account reconciliations and support for global financial reporting processes. Everyday responsibilities include ensuring compliance during audits. The Team closely cooperates with other relevant stakeholders, including the tax team, business controllers, as well as external stakeholders. The Global RTR Team is responsible for multiple countries in the EMEA region, including Finland, Germany, France, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, UK, etc. Your role: - Effectively manage month end close processes and monthly reporting - Record and review accounting entries according to Fortum requirements and procedures - Complete year-end closing processes and reports - Reconciliation of accounts and other accounting data - Provide support for less experienced team members with all processes in scope - Liaise with multiple internal finance teams and clients - Resolve internal and external audits queries - Ensure completeness and accuracy and timeliness process delivery - Maintain de...
