Working Student Mechanical Designer (m/f/d)

Job description

Your mission: - Design and develop aircraft components, as well as jigs and tooling. - Prepare all required technical documentation, including engineering drawings, work instructions, and verification reports. - Build, assemble, and test prototypes to validate design concepts. - Perform simulations and analyses in areas such as structural loads, stress, weight and balance, flight mechanics, aerodynamics, and power consumption. - Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment for rapid prototyping and part production. Your profile: What you bring as a perfect candidate - Currently enrolled in aerospace engineering or a related technical discipline for at least 2 more semesters. - Strong technical understanding with a keen interest in aerospace, mechanical design, and aerodynamics. - Solid understanding of overall aircraft systems and functions. - Proficiency in at least one CAD system (preferably CATIA). - Experience with simulation software (e.g., FEM and CFD tools). - Knowledge or experience in composite design is an advantage. - Solution oriented and independent working style - You thrive in collaborative environments and value collective success. - You approach challenges with a pos...
