Overview The Department of Family Medicine at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University is seeking a full-time, board certified, clinical faculty at rank of Assistant Professor. Responsibilities: Clinical Practice: - Provides comprehensive physician care in outpatient and hospital settings, including patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, procedures as applicable, documentation, and care coordination. - Exercises independent clinical judgment consistent with specialty standards and institutional policies. - Collaborates with nursing, allied health professionals, trainees, and administrative staff to ensure quality and continuity of care. Teaching & Clinical Supervision: - Provides clinical instruction and supervision to medical students, residents, fellows, and other trainees. - Participates in learner assessment, feedback, and evaluation processes consistent with departmental educational objectives.
