Department Overview The Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position. We seek outstanding candidates working in basic and/or translational research in host-microbe interactions and immunology, with a strong emphasis on molecular approaches that advance our understanding of disease mechanisms. Function/Duties of Position: The successful applicant will develop an independent, vibrant research program, collaborate effectively with current investigators, and contribute to teaching and service. OHSU offers a highly interactive research environment with access to outstanding core facilities, including advanced imaging, cryo-electron microscopy, proteomics, metabolomics, flow cytometry, and more. Microbiology and immunology research at OHSU is a highly collaborative environment that spans the entire University, including but not limited to the Division of Infectious Diseases, the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute (VTGI), and the School of Dentistry.
