Junior Sailing Instructor (Adjunct)

Job description

USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Junior Instructors provide support to participants enrolled in the sailing, kayaking and/or standup paddle boarding (SUP) program. Duties/Responsibilities: Instructional Support and Skill Development (50%) personal sailing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) skills. sailing theory. inclement weather activities. Youth Engagement and Program Delivery (25%) participants. parents/guardians. - Provide direct support to instructors during on-water and land-based classes while developing - Demonstrate on-water techniques and assist with instruction in safety, boat handling, and - Develop and follow lesson plans that include on-water drills, dry land instruction, and - Build skills necessary to effectively instruct and engage participants ages 5–18. - Foster a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment for youth - Serve as a role model by demonstrating appropriate behavior, language, and Corinthian spirit. - Communicate effectively with participants and support positive interactions with Program Operations and Communication (15%): make-up sessions to participants.
