Description The Department of Psychology at the University of Washington invites applications for lecturers with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2026. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a part-time 50% FTE basis for a nine-month academic, one-year, renewable appointment beginning September 16, 2026. The base salary range for this position will be $8,400 - $8,900 at 100% FTE, per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. The successful candidate will be expected to teach one undergraduate psychology course per quarter (autumn, winter, and spring), with a primary focus on large undergraduate statistics courses. These courses will include Psych 317: Introduction to Probability and Statistics for Psychology, Psych 318: Statistical Inference in Psychological Research, and potentially a statistical skills preparatory course.
